Levan Meskhoradze

Levan Meskhoradze holds Master of Laws and is Associate Professor.

Levan has served as Georgia's representative before the Strasbourg Court and other international courts. He held the position of Head of the Department of State Representation before International Courts at the Ministry of Justice of Georgia.

Throughout his career, Levan has handled numerous precedent-setting cases before the European Court, including the notable cases of Georgia v Russia I (the "Deportations Case") and Georgia v Russia II (the "August Hostilities Case").

Levan is highly regarded as an international and national consultant for the European Union and the Council of Europe. He has also provided expertise to various bodies and programs of the Human Rights and Democratic Institutions Bureau at OSCE and other international organizations.

In addition, he serves as an expert at the High School of Justice, the Training Center of the Prosecutor's Office, and the Training Center of the Bar Association.

As a professor specializing in public international law and human rights law, Levan shares his knowledge and expertise with students. He has authored several scientific publications and articles, contributing to the field.
