Tatia Khabeishvili

Tatia Khabeishvili holds a master's degree in commercial law and is Assistant Professor. She is also a Ph.D. candidate in Digital Governance and Artificial Intelligence at Business and Technology University, where she is working on her thesis titled “The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Digital Health Policy.“

Tatia is a qualified lawyer with over 12 years of professional experience in the legal field. She is an active member of the Georgian Bar Association and has built her legal expertise through roles at various law firms. In addition to her legal practice, she has held senior positions at a business consulting and investment company, where she advised on complex legal and strategic matters. Tatia is also the co-founder of several tech companies in Georgia, bringing together her legal acumen and entrepreneurial drive.

In addition, she served as a legal advisor to the Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labour, Health, and Social Affairs of Georgia. She was an expert in the Ministry and a member of multiple working groups formed for legislative changes in labour, medical, and social law.

She has been a member of several working groups dedicated to legislative changes in the areas of labour, health, and social law. Furthermore, Tatia is a co-author of the Labour Code and the law of Georgia on Labour Inspection. She has also been involved in the implementation of numerous legislative acts in the field of medical law. Her expertise is showcased in her role as a co-author of the book "Commentaries to the Labour Code," which was published with the support of the International Labour Organization (ILO).

Currently, Tatia is working on a book titled. “Practice of Labour Inspector of Georgia“ as part of a project at New Vision University. Tatia actively contributes to the effective implementation of labour standards and conducts training sessions in the public and private sectors. She is a lecturer at European University, Caucasus University and the Head of the Labour Law Clinic at New Vision University.
